Hello Everyone! I just wanted to keep you up to date with
what’s going on with the family. The
kids have settled in nicely into school and as for our healthy lifestyle
commitments, we are handling it just fine even though the schedule is a little
different. Mainly because we found that
it is easier to keep up a regiment than
it is to GET STARTED with a new one, simply because we have all seen
RESULTS. Yes, you heard me,
RESULTS. I’ve lost 15 pounds, Chelsea’s
stamina, endurance and speed has improved on the tennis court and in school in
gym. GO CHELSEA…IT’S YOUR
BIRTHDAY…not really, but it feels that way for her. She’s so proud of herself and she is
motivated to keep it up for herself.
Shelby called home the other day and she said “Ma, you are going to
be so proud of me” I said “Why, what did you do? She said ” I went to the gym for an hour
by myself” now that may sound like not such a big deal, but my daughter
doesn’t like going to the gym, she would rather be outside working out PLUS,
she went ALONE. She didn’t have to go
with anyone because it was IMPORTANT to her.
Now, she’s doing it for herself and not just to support her mom, who is
a personal trainer. Way to go Shelby,
keep up the great work and have a great semester. YOU ROCK!
As for Alan, he has seen results as well, he keeps us on time with the
walk especially since it gets dark earlier, and we don’t do night walking. What we found to be interesting and fun, is
to walk in different areas so we don’t get use to the terrain, so if there is a
hill than we must endure it as a unit, cheering each other on as we go. A family that walks together – stays
together. That’s our motto and we’re
sticking to it.
